An EARLY sneak peek at a new sort of project...
Here's the full-length video from the first live stream. It's speeds through the flats that I did prior to the recording.

Live stream #2: Critiques! Sunday, March 23 at 8pm Eastern
New live stream link: https://www.picarto.tv/live/channel.php?watch=kmichaelrussell
Hey folks, I was testing a new streaming platform with a few people that follow my videos, and I ending up looking at some of their coloring and giving some critiques. It was actually a lot of fun!
So for my next live stream, I'd like to do some more of that! I'm looking for people that want to get some feedback on their own coloring work. If this is something that you'd like, and you don't mind sharing your work with the other viewers, drop me a line! My email is info@comiccolor.com. Just put "CRITIQUE" in the subject line.
You can send links to portfolios, or even better--you can send the PSD files. Click the eye next to each layer to turn it off before you save it, and it will be a much smaller file. You can use Dropbox/Drive/etc links if you need to--if the files are too large to email.
I'll be selecting three or four (maybe more if there's time) to critique and probably do some quick "color overs". So if I don't have time to get to everyone's submissions, I'll definitely be saving them for possible future streams.
Right now, the stream is young, there aren't a ton of viewers, and I've got some time before starting a big project very soon. I don't know when I'll be able to do this again, so I'll hope you'll take advantage!
I'll be going live on Sunday, March 23 at 7pm Central/8pm Eastern US here: https://www.picarto.tv/live/channel.php?watch=kmichaelrussell
See you soon!

The airbrush-happy--be afraid!
My first Twitch tutorial live stream!
I said I would try a coloring live stream at 1000 subs, and we hit that today, so I'll give it a shot on Sunday!
I'll be coloring live on YouTube Sunday, March 16, 2014, at 8pm Central. In the meantime, let me know what you want to see in the comments! I'm looking forward to answering any questions you've got, and maybe I can help demystify the process for any beginners.
I hope to see you there!
UPDATE! Go to http://www.twitch.tv/kmichruss instead! I'll be streaming from Twitch for improved chat.

99 Issues One-year anniversary show photos
Great show at 99 Issues today! I was able to table with my childhood hero, Steven Butler! We had a great time! Thanks to all from the area who came out to support 99 Issues.
As you can see, I have a thing for 90's X-men costumes.
Pensacon 2014 Photos!
Wow. What a show! Pensacon 2014 was a great success! The turnout was massive, and everyone seemed so happy to have a con in their area. They've already set the date for next year: February 27 through March 1, 2015. I'll be there.
Thanks for everyone that came out and supported it. Thanks to everyone that bought sketches and prints from me. That was my first convention, and I believe I am spoiled now!
